Hello everyone. Here's my dilemna: ACAD was messing up so I removed it and re-installed it. Now when I fire it up I get the following message: 'unable to locate resource library:\deskres.dll'. I cancel the message and ACAD seems to work well. Just wondering if I missed a step in the installation process or what. Any hints and/or tips? Thanks.

RE: ACAD error message @ startup

Try to search your computer for the file and then register it with Windows. If this does not help, you may try reinstalling over the previous install. Depending on what the dll is used for, you may or may not see AutoCAD fail on a certain command(s).

Hey Borgunit. Thanks for the tip. I'll certainly try it. Thanks again.
