PLOTTING PROBLEMS

PLOTTING PROBLEMS

(OP)
Hello. I have a plotting problem. This problem just recently surfaced. I plot a drawing and all the plotter does is move slightly and nothing more. I can print with the plotter as a Windows printer. I went as far as replacing the .PC3 & .PMP files: I thought they may have corrupted. I even reloaded ACAD to make sure that was not the problem. The plotter drivers are the latest release. The problem is still there. I would appreciate any tips. Thanks.

Win2000, ACAD 2000.
Plotter: Encad Cadjet

RE: PLOTTING PROBLEMS

Sounds like a communication protocol disagreement between the plotter and the computer.

Hi IRF. Yes, it was a communication problem. It happened that the AUTOSPOOL configuration was messed up. Once I reconfigured it all plotted out normal. Thanks.

RE: PLOTTING PROBLEMS

Glad I could help
