stripped screw holes in panel assembly

(OP)
I am searching for a method, cheaper than using tinnerman nuts, to secure a panel assy with stripped screw holes. The panels were originaly assembled with "sheet metal" screws. We prefer to continue using SM scews. Options? Ideas?
Thanks,

RE: stripped screw holes in panel assembly

We've had good luck with Eskay trilobular screws to replace stripped out sheetmetal screws in metals and plastics. Eskay has recently merged with another company.  Their website is: www.entegrafastener.com
