Is there a course or exam to take it to be ASME certified inspector?

RE: How to be ASME certified Inspector

Yes. Check with the National Board web site, below. The National Board lists the requirements for becoming a commissioned Inspector for ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code inspection activities;

RE: How to be ASME certified Inspector

Metengr is correct, go to the National Board web site and follow the link to "Rules for commissioned Inspectors". There is a course given By Ivy Tech State College in Terre Haute Indiana.  I am one of the instructors for the class.The next class starts on Feb 13th and runs through the 25th. The next National Board exam will be given on the 2nd and third of March. Ivy Tech has been offering the class for over 25 years. Many Inspectors from all over the world have attented and passed the exam.

The web site for the Ivy Tech Class is: http://ccs.goivytech.net/boiler_pressure/contact_manager.html
 The National Board also has a class on the same dates they have been offering the class for about 18 months, if you are thinking about either class you need to sign up now.
