Scale it back

Scale it back

Scale it back

(OP)
Hi,
I create metric part template (doc. properties-units-mmgs)and insert METRIC ACAD sketch in my SW metric template.
SW sketch becomes 25.4 times larger and I need to scale it back.
What is wrong?
Thanks.

RE: Scale it back

AutoCad has only inches in the software.  This why you have to scale up or down as you to and from metric.  You can assign a metric measure to the length units, but when you move it to other software it reads the autocad units as inches so you are oversized.  Fought this for many years as a AutoCad user.

RE: Scale it back

Are you cutting 'n' pasting?
If you "import" you have the option to select the source units.

Colin.
