Folding stainless steel sheet

Folding stainless steel sheet

Folding stainless steel sheet

(OP)
When folding 3042b stainless steel sheet, you will on sheets without plastic coating, mark the material with a line from the outside of the vee. Without using plastic in the vee is there anyway around this on a 3.0mm internal radius, or does the radius need to be increased?
Allowing for the type of mark, and that it is only a visual mark not an indentation you can feel or measure, can these tool marks have any effect on stress fractures occouring in the steel on these lines?

RE: Folding stainless steel sheet

Packie, you need to specify the thickness of the 304-2B sheet! It makes all the difference in the world when discussing bend radii.
