Bound box

Is there a "bound box" feature in SW2004?  Mastercam has a nice feature that I use for asssertaining what size stock to use for my part. Anything in SW?

thx for any help. :)

RE: Bound box

SW can't determine that kind of information. SW has a bounding box in hte graphics area by simply picking and dragging a box around your model.

RE: Bound box

There are alot of macro programs out there, you should be able to find one for Bounding Box, I know I have seen them but never had the use for one.  Being a machinist by trade, I usually draw my machined parts by starting out with the material and then cutting away at it, just like I would in the shop.
