can anyone tell me how to dimension a diameter using a centreline to outside radius in inventor i cant get it to work
it is constantly going back to the ctr point of the rad

In what mode? In IV 9 in part /sketch mode you can dimension a radius by clicking on the circle and then right-clicking the mouse and selecting radius.

Click on the centerline then RMB and select Linear Diameter...then select the outside edge (from memory might be a bit off)
