How to change your "view" options permanently in "open file"

How to change your "view" options permanently in "open file"

Quick question.  How do i permanently change my view options?  I'll go to open a file in autocad and my select file dialog box will let me change my file view option from tiles to details, but as soon as i close out and re-open the file dialog box, the view setting changes right back to tile mode.  I am running on windows XP and i figured that this would change once I alter my windows settings, but it appears that its something that might be set up in autocad.  Can anyone help me with this?  Thanks in advance.
