Plane through circle

Plane through circle

(OP)
How do you create a parallel plane through a circle? This is for SW2005. Default wants a point. The temporary axis can be selected but is not valid, and you can't select its end point. You can select the circle or shaft edge but the choice of selecting its center is not offered. I have had to create a sketch and put a point at the center of the circle.

Thanks

RE: Plane through circle

Add an Axis instead of using temp axis. See if it works for you.

RE: Plane through circle

I usually just "show" the sketch that created the circular edge and use it's center point.  Then re-hide the sketch.
