Lineweight in 3d viewports

Lineweight in 3d viewports

(OP)
hi-
I'm plotting 3D (extruded) objects in paper space viewports, and for some reason the objects in the window are plotting with light lineweights (probably 0.00) rather than the 0.25 default we usually use in our office. The object properties window shows the object's lineweights to be "by layer", which should then plot at the lineweight specified in the layer manager window, but instead I'm only getting light lines.

This seems to only apply to objects in viewports, rather than objects in paper space. Also, this doesn't happen is I plot from a window in model space.

Is there some quality to these viewports that I may have inadvertantly turned on?

I'm potting with "linewights by plot style" and essentially using the "monochrome.ctb" style, running 2002.

Can anyone offer suggestions?

thanks
sundemon
