Looking for help with explosives!

Looking for help with explosives!

Looking for help with explosives!

(OP)
I would like to find information or assistance pertaining to explosives.  Ideally I would like to make a small metallic capsule around 1/4" to 1/2" long and 1/4" diameter which can explode at various selected temperatures.  I am interested in the following ranges, 135F, 155F, 175F, 200F, 360F.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Um, why?

I am looking for something basically like an electrical fuse but I also want to sustain a compressive force without buckling. Instead of simply melting, I would like it to break apart in small piece when it gets too hot.

A company called Demex in Picayune, Miss might be able to help you.  They do all kinds of explosives, from taking down unused oil rigs in the gulf to making explosive plugs and expansion charges for high pressure heat exchangers.
