Hi,

I have been trying to figure this out for some time.  Throwing in the towel.  Cannot figure out how to set up links in a drawing template for the sheet number, revision, part number and others.
Can anyone help?

Thanks

RE: Link to file props in a drawing, rev, sheet# etc

I asked RAND the same question. Answer: it is not possible. You'll need to write some sort of a VB script to do this. Weird.

I was afraid that this might be the answer.  That's too bad.  Catia needs to take some pointers from SolidWorks.
If anyone gets a hold of this script, please post.
Tired of manually updating all this info.  Very unproductive.

Thanks

Try following this link:

The downloads section of this forum has a modified version of the IBM title block macro which I have successfully used (after some German to English translation) where I work...
Its pretty slick actually!
I think you have to join (free) the forum to download, but it is worth it. Lots of good stuff here.

Have you tried using Attribute Links ??
