Wildfire License Problem

Wildfire License Problem

Wildfire License Problem

(OP)
See if annyone can figure this one out! Not even Pro/Engineer technical support could!

My computer will run on my laptop proe wildfire perfectly with a node locked license when i am at home connecected on my Netgear Wireless router / ASDL modem with my netgear wirelss network card.

If i go to work and connect to the wireless server there I loose my floating license straight away.

If i go home, connect back to my router, get pro e running, then hibernate the computer and take my router to work, turn i on and restart my computer it works, as long as i don't connect the router to the netwrk in any way.

Anyone have anyideas?? I've tried diabling MediaSense.

RE: Wildfire License Problem

See Thread554-108718 , samoth's suggestion worked for me. If you have a node-locked license, Pro/E should look to the wireless card (I'm assuming thats the one that the license is tied to) if it has the lowest configuration number.

Thanks for the advice but that hasn't worked.

This is driving me crazy, i migh thave to resort to buying a new PC to get it working.

It is not to do with media sense it seems, it is to do with which network i am connected to, how could this possibly effect pro/e ??
