Windows 98 resolution change

Windows 98 resolution change

(OP)
Hello,

I have an old computer with windows98 and my monitor broke.
I got one from a friend of mine, but the resolution I was using is too much for my actual monitor.

When windows starts everything gets unfocused, it gets so bad I can't even see the mouse. :(

How can I change the resolution to fit the monitor specifications???

RE: Windows 98 resolution change

Have you tried booting in Safe Mode; F8 during the initial boot sequence.  It should boot up in 640x480 mode, allowing you to reset the screen resolution.
