PLEASE HELP ME !!

PLEASE HELP ME !!

PLEASE HELP ME !!

(OP)
HI
I create a Product with some other Product and I want to creat a BOM of my general product. When I try this I have two BOM. One of the general assembly and an other for each sub-assembly who constitute me general assembly. And I want to display a Number just for my sub-assembly not for each part of them.

How create a BOM of my general assembly and creat number(balloons for the sub-assembly)

Thank and answer soon please

RE: PLEASE HELP ME !!

For your BOM you should be able to just delete the table underneath the BOM of the general product. This will delete everything after that point and you will be left with anything preceding that table.  as far as your balloons you have to creat the numbers first.  do this by hitting the "generate number" button on the "product strutures tools bar".  and then in your drawing window click the "generate ballons" button.  I'm not sure what your defualts are but its likely that "item number" is not in your column for the BOM.  to set this switch back to your product window and under the analyze drop down menu select bill of materials and then down at the bottom define format.  the only thing i can't anwser for you is how to apply "item numbers" to your products.
