Double Vane Hydraulic Rotary Actuator

Double Vane Hydraulic Rotary Actuator

Double Vane Hydraulic Rotary Actuator

(OP)
Hi,

We have a 10kNm capacity double vane hydraulic rotary actuator that is making some disturbing internal grinding and squeaking noises.  We think that maybe the bearings are worn causing the vane to pivot and grind against the chamber wall.

Can anyone confirm this or suggest an alternative cause ?

Could anyone also direct me to a webpage showing an exploded view of such an actuator ?

Thanks,

Conrad.

KCJ,

Been on their website and printed off their engineering data etc.  Pity their in Indiana USA and we're in little old blighty (UK).  But still, a great starting point.

Cheers

Conrad.
