Has anyone run in to any problems with Solidworks crashing when importing PRO-E assembly files directly in to Solidworks SP4.2?

The error I'm seeing says something about "Family table instance detected of generic part...Could not locate instance accelerator...instead generic component will be imported."

Also, when you try to create new part models from the same assembly, you can only get about 3 parts done before Solidworks crashes.

Insight appreciated!

Thanks for the tip Scott.  I did that then upgraded to EV of 2004 SP5.0 and it seemed to convert OK.  I still get the "Family table instance" error but it appears to be a model-specific error.

Cheers!
