Transferring 13% Sodium Hypochlorite

Transferring 13% Sodium Hypochlorite

Transferring 13% Sodium Hypochlorite

(OP)
I need to transfer a 13% solution of sodium hypochlorite ~ 400' from a large storage tank to a smaller day tank at 25gpm (with only ~13.5' TDH).  I have contacted companies such as Prominent (whose metering pumps we will use for the hypo injection), but for larger flow rate they do not recommend a metering pump and could offer no advice.  Could anyone recommend a pump for this type of application?  Also how should degassing be handled with this type of system?

RE: Transferring 13% Sodium Hypochlorite

Watson Marlow makes hose pumps that can transfer at that rate.  The model SP 25 or higher is more than adequate.  You can check them out on their web site.
