I had a full 2d detail of a complex part complete, but when I loaded a new part, the dims turned red and are not associating. What is the easiest way to relink?

Hi,
As for as my knowledge is concerned, 2d detail assosiated from 3d part will depend on 3d part. If you make any changes on 3d part, same will be projected in 2d detail. You said that, you have loaded new 3d part.what exactly have you done? Please let me know clearly.

The function is called re-routing dimensions. You have to repick both legs of the dimension, but its great becuase you don't lose any notes or tolerances on the dim.
