Mechanica Design Study of an ASSEMBLY

Mechanica Design Study of an ASSEMBLY

Mechanica Design Study of an ASSEMBLY

(OP)
I am analyzing a bond line between two different materials.  In order to mesh the three materials(two plus the bond)I had to create the bond and the outer part in assembly mode and run Mechanica from the assembly.  Manually it works fine.  I can change the bond thickness and everything moves accordingly.  Now I would like to vary the thickness of the bond by making a parameter in assembly mode, and get the typical design study plots that I am get in part mode.  It doesn't work.  Any ideas?
