Looking for: 95th Percentile Male...
Looking for: 95th Percentile Male...
(OP)
...for long walks on the beach, quiet nights on the sofa. No, no, just kidding! Get your heads out of the gutter.
I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of any company in the USA (preferably SoCal area) that rents out 95th percentile male dummies used in crash testing?
I've searched Google, but not getting anywhere. I also need to verify that this is 6'-2" and 223lb. Some sites I found stated slightly different weights.
I do not need any telemetry or other electronics. In fact I might even be able to live with a training dummy that fire departments use, if the dimensions and weight are close.

ASTM F1166 & F1337
RE: Looking for: 95th Percentile Male...
Do your really want a 95% percentile female? Some people are into that sort of thing I suppose, and if you are that's fine.
Myself, I'd go for 40th to 50th percentile.

Siaupa, bless you for your sense of humor.
I can understand that that some people might choose to be offended by my earlier post, and if anyone makes that choice, that is fine. But, lets disect that post:
I question CBL's earlier post. I state my opinion that everyone is entitled to their own preferences. I state my preference.
There is nothing there that is actually offensive. Any offence taken is is inferred.

What would a 5'-8", 150lb one be?

I need something that approximates a 6'-2", 223lb man. I am testing some safety related retention devices. I fired off an email to FTSS.com, but no replies yet. I'm hoping to find a non-telemetry model >$2k.
