How to animate paper wrapping around rollers?

How to animate paper wrapping around rollers?

How to animate paper wrapping around rollers?

(OP)
Chris cninneman,
I am trying to animate paper wrapping around rollers. I was trying to use Flex to accomplish this without any luck and the SolidWorks help manual does not seem to explain how to do something like wrapping paper.
I also tried equations to change the wrap as I moved the paper through a set of offset rollers. My boss told me I was taking to much time for what he needed, so the project is at a stop unless someone comes up with an easy answer.
We are now using SolidWorks 2005 SP0.1

RE: How to animate paper wrapping around rollers?

The web page that CorBlimeyLimey pointed you to, is probably going to be far better than anything I could cough up.  I could be wrong, but I think you're right the flex command is not going to help in this situation.  I was told that Flex was designed more toward flexible parts, a shifter boot, was the example I was given.  Sorry I can't be of much help.

Chris
