How do you use intersect points on a curve with points repitition?

How do you use intersect points on a curve with points repitition?

(OP)
I have curves on a face that represent fastener patterns. I have interected the curves to make the end points for each grouping of fasteners. When I try to use point repitition to space out the points between them, the function will not use those intersect points to set the spacing boundary (like old V4). It seems that the only points that this fuction will use is from the point function. Is there a way to use these intersect points to set up the points spacing?

RE: How do you use intersect points on a curve with points repitition?

Split the fastener curve with the boundary points. Space your points along the Split rather than the original curve.
