die casting aliminum standards

is there anyone who can tell me where can i find the die-cast aliminium standards in DIN norms, and english norms.

RE: die casting aliminum standards

The following standards are used for specifying the requirements for aluminium die castings:

DIN 1688 Part 4 LIGHT METAL ALLOY RAW CASTINGS; PRESSURE DIE CASTINGS; GENERAL TOLERANCES, MACHINING ALLOWANCES

DIN EN 1706 ALUMINIUM AND ALUMINIUM ALLOYS - CASTINGS - CHEMICAL COMPOSITION AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES

ASTM B 85 STANDARD SPECIFICATION FOR ALUMINUM-ALLOY DIE CASTINGS

I am not sure what you meant by "english" norms, but BS EN 1706 has the same content as DIN EN 1706 except the language is English not German.  BS is the official standards organization in the United Kingdom.

TVP thanks for the reply,
what i mean by english norms is british norms.for the couple of months time we've been working with some multinational companies and i am confused bcs sometimes they write the aliminium alloy type in german norms, sometimes in british or french norms.
where can i find a complete table which shows all the  equivalent material types. like AlSi9Cu3-LM24-AS9U3A etc.
