applying powder coat without electrostatic charge

(OP)
I am in need of a way to apply powder coat paint without the electrostatic charge. Can the powder be mixed with a solvent to produce a liquid or paste? Can it be magnetized? I am trying to develope a differant way of curing the powder but have hit a dead end on application without static.

RE: applying powder coat without electrostatic charge

what resin are you using for your powder coating?...if the substrate is not heat sensible then heat the substrate to the softening point of the resin and then spray coat the powders..

RE: applying powder coat without electrostatic charge

Are you repairing something that has powder finish?  If so find out from the powder supplier what compatible liquid paints you can use rather than go through the trouble of breaking down powder.  All our repair jobs utilize liquids over powder.
