Hidden lines not correct linetype in .plt file

Hidden lines not correct linetype in .plt file

(OP)
Hello,
I made a model of a shaft with a hole drilled through on WF 1.0. When I made a print directly from the Pro-E drawing, the hidden lines show correctly. However, I must make a .plt file of every Pro-E dwg in order to publish it for our manufacturing shop. Please let me know how to make the hidden lines translate to a .plt file.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

RE: Hidden lines not correct linetype in .plt file

Matt,

When you create your .plt file are you selecting the POSTSCRIPT plotter? In this case your plt file is a posst scrpit. Change the extension in ps and and with Acrobat Distiller made it PDF. If you see the hidden lines, this measns that the file is OK and the manufacturing plotter settings are not set right.

Good luck

-Hora
