AUTODESK AND VOLUME

AUTODESK AND VOLUME

AUTODESK AND VOLUME

(OP)
Has anyone in the forums had any experience with figuring volumes with Land Desktop 2004?  I have several bins that I am getting ready to figure volumes on and although I have worked Autocad for many years, this is one area I have never experienced.  I am thinking about using the Composite volume calculations and our Party Chief is in the field collecting data as I write.  I do know that I am wanting to create volumes on each individual bin since the owners are wanting a way to keep track of their intake and outtake for inventory purposes.  Any feedback?

Thanks
Eve1

RE: AUTODESK AND VOLUME

You sound like you are on the right track. The help function on LandDesktop 2004 is very helpful. For your situation I would suggest using different sites for each bin.  Look under site manager and create a different site for each bin.  Hope this helps.
