Analog to HART converters?

Analog to HART converters?

Analog to HART converters?

(OP)
I have user HART tri-loop to Analog converters supplied by Rosemount before with great success, but I now need to acquire 4-20 mA signals with a HART modem-only acquisition system.  The acquisition system is capable of acquiring only the digital portion of the HART signal, not analog signals.

Has anyone heard of such a converter?

Thanks and enjoy you day.
Chris.

I need this to be a rail mount design so it will fit in my flameproof junction box.  Adaptions using full transmitters won't work for me.

RE: Analog to HART converters?

I have not but have you checked with B&B electronics? Their line of converters is added to on a regular basis.

Try PRElectronics (from Denemark)
(  http://www.prelectronics.com  ;)
use 4-20 ma Ex smart isolator with 4-20ma in and out and hart function.    think type 5335B smart two wires Hart transmitter  with FM, CSA and ATEX approval will do the job for you.

RE: Analog to HART converters?

Have recently used Moore Industries products. Not bad at all.
