SW 2005- Does not recognise design library!

SW 2005- Does not recognise design library!

Hi,
I work on the sheet metal designs. When I try to insert any forming tool, the system doesnt allow me to do so. Instead it prompts me "Are you trying to make a derived part?" This is what it should say when I click the "file explore" on the task pane. But it does the same even if I browse through my design library. It just inserts the part into ur model as a solid model.

Doesnt differentiate design library and File explorer. Is there any fix that cud help me make this software recognise my forming tools as tools and not as individual parts?

RE: SW 2005- Does not recognise design library!

Try right-clicking the folder in the design library, I think there is an option to make it a library folder or forming tools folder to prevent that.

Mr Gildashard,..
Thanks! That worked..It was so simple that I cudnt even think of it.I know it sounds foolish ...but  I tried everything possible under the sun except this to make it work before I posted a question to this site..and it is so efficient.!! I am gonna keep myself updated on this forum from now and help as far as I can.

Thanks once again.
