Looking for fine-pitch LED dot-matrix

Looking for fine-pitch LED dot-matrix

Looking for fine-pitch LED dot-matrix

(OP)
Hi All -

I'm sure everyone is familiar with the typical 5x7 dotmatrix LED displays.  Particularly the ones that snap together so you can build a larger display ...

I want something just like that, but with a much smaller pitch or size.  All the ones I've seen look like they use the equivalent of 3mm or even 5mm LEDs in them.  If I could find them at 1/2 the size, I would be happy :)

Any ideas ?

Dean.

RE: Looking for fine-pitch LED dot-matrix

Agilent (http://we.home.agilent.com/USeng/nav/-25134.0/pc.html) makes a variety both dot matrix displays (17.5mm height) and intelligent alphanumeric displays (3.8mm charcter heicht. The intelligent displays are a little pricy, but nice to use.
