Help I am in need of a easy to use economical (cheap) device to use with a dc motor pulling under 12a    I am using a 12 volt battery and currently use a wiper motor in the device.  I need to be able to slow the motor down by slight increments.  The contoller will be used in a toy so it needs to be easy to adjust.   I am a photographer by trade so please respond in terms I can understand.  Specific links or item names and numbers will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Doug

It is a trico wiper motor used in saturn cars.

RE: DC Motor speed controller

Polyspede has a small, inexpensive DC input speed controller for DC motors. Their web site is polyspede.com but the DC drive is not on the page yet. You'll have to call them.

Another company you can check out is DART Controls, Zionville, Indiana.
