PDF files from UG/NX2 drawings ???

PDF files from UG/NX2 drawings ???

PDF files from UG/NX2 drawings ???

(OP)
Is there a utility to create multi-sheet PDF files from UG drawings?

RE: PDF files from UG/NX2 drawings ???

not directly.

Plot the files to disk as HPGL
Use pdf995.com software to print a pdf from some HPGL file viewer.

"Wildfires are dangerous, hard to control, and economically catastrophic."
"Fixed in the next release" should replace "Product First" as the PTC slogan.

Adobe Acrobat Pro allows you to merge PDF sheets together into a multi sheet document... so you can plot to individual PS files, distill them into individual PDFs, then merge them in Acrobat... but that may not be what you are reqesting. Ben's method may be the best way to do that, except that there is still a secondary operation involved, but you can simply write a .bat file to merge the .hpgl files, then print them to PDF via pdf995.

I do not have a direct link to a download, but at my last job we used a post script program. From the plot menu it would make a .ps, then we opened it with ghostscript, then convert it to PDF.

Just export a CGM file and import it into Adobe Illustrator.  You can save a PDF with Illustrator.

RE: PDF files from UG/NX2 drawings ???

Search for FreePDFXP

In conjunction with Ghostscript 8.x it allows You to save
a .ps in a folder (eg c:\PDFOUT) then convert it with just a double click.

For large formats (ISO A0...) You will need to tweak the driver of the virtual printer switching from the default apple PS printer to a plotter that support PS (E.g. HP designjet 3500CP PS3)

If you use Omniformat along with pdf995, it automates the entire process.

Everything should be designed as simple as possible, but not simpler.
