Boundary conditions in cylindrical coordinate sys.

Boundary conditions in cylindrical coordinate sys.

(OP)
Hi everyone,

I want to apply a simple displacement boundary condition to the inside of a thin-walled tube section in the radially outward direction. I cannot find a way to prescribe a displacement BC in anything but the cartesian coordinate system. Anyone have an idea? BTW this is Pro/Mechanica 2001. Thanks!

RE: Boundary conditions in cylindrical coordinate sys.

Using enforced displacements with a cylindrical co-ordinate system is possible, make sure that the cylindrical csys is active before you create the constraint.
