edrawings printing question

edrawings printing question

edrawings printing question

(OP)
To keep the shop floor from printing out addition copies, I would like to know if it is possible to put a watermark for the time/date when printing from edrawings automatically? If not, can the printing option be disabled? What our our other options?

Thanks in advance

RE: edrawings printing question

Thread559-55243 covered a topic similar to this. It may have something you can use.

An alternative might be to get your IT people to create a "shop floor personnel" user group which has limited access to engineering files and/or printers.

RE: edrawings printing question

darnell,

I received an email from Solidworks and was told this can't be done (time/date stamp). They also said they are looking at adding it to the next release of eDrawings.
