Deleting Pro/I Reference

(OP)
I created a Pro/E interchange assembly to swap out a large number of fasteners in my "product" assembly.  This replacement was a one-time design change - I will never use the interchange assembly again.  However, when I attempt to check the product assembly into Pro/Intralink, I am required to check the interchange assembly in also.  Is there any way to break the link between the two so that the interchange assembly can be deleted?  I am running Pro/E 2001, and Pro/I version 3.2.

Thanks,
Andy
