Soil Frac Grouting

Soil Frac Grouting

Soil Frac Grouting

(OP)
Can anyone direct me to a literature source regarding design of Soil Fracture Grouting aka. Compensation Grouting. This will be employeed to remediate lost ground from tunneling within granular soils.
I need to determine spacing between injection points (primary/secondary), injection pressures and volumes as it relates to effective stress and tunnel diameter.

RE: Soil Frac Grouting

The two principal companies dealing with compensation grouting are Solétanche-Bachy and Keller. Most of the litterature about the subject are about their respective references. For Solétanche-Bachy you can look for articles about Jubilee Line for London Underground and the Puerto Rico subway. You will find thereafter a few references :
"Soil fracturing techniques for terminating settlements and restoring levels of buildings and structures" by Raabe & Esters, Ground Engineering , May 90
"Settlement reduction by Soil Fracture Grouting" by M Pototschnik, Proc ASCE Specialty Conference, New Orleans 25-28/02/92
"Soil Fracturing - An injection method for ground improvement" by H Samol & H Priebel, Proc ISSMFE Conference San Francisco, pp1753-1756
" La  nouvelle ligne de metro Jubilee Line Extension à Londres Injections de compensation" par S Carayol, Traévaux n°731, mai 97
