Molten Sulfer and vapor space in rail tankers

Molten Sulfer and vapor space in rail tankers

Molten Sulfer and vapor space in rail tankers

(OP)
What is the recommended vapor space in a rail tank car filled with molten sulfer?  I've heard that there are articles that discuss and recommend vapor space for rail tank cars but can't find anything so far.  AAR deals with shipping not loading/unloading, and the sulfer institute has nothing to offer, except that its up to the manufacturers of the sulfer and the tank.  So, any advice is appreciated.

Awesome posts!  Thanks a lot.  I've already gathered several MSDS's but didn't see the vapor space mentioned.  And the tank car page was also helpful.  Great!
