i've recently bought a new computer and installed the Solid Edge Origin freeware, which was running smoothly on the previus machine, on it. I've done everything as before but it won't work. It just showes this:

"A connection to the licence file server could not be established. Contact your systems administrator to resolve the connection to the server.

Ivalid licence file syntax
Feature:    server_id
Licence path: d:\programs\solid edge origin\program\SELicence.dat
FLEXlm error: -2,413"

I've no idea what that's supposed to mean.

Hello,

It seems that you have Flexlm installed on your machine and that SE is looking for a server licence. To resolve this issue you need to look in the directory
\Program Files\Solid Edge\Program\SELicense.dat

The contain should be:

FEATURE solidedgeorigin uglmd 7.0 permanent uncounted 5A3FACEF0C0D \
         HOSTID=ANY

I hope this will work. Sorry for my english, but I'm french.

Regards

Christophe
