Changing dim style on existing leader arrows

Changing dim style on existing leader arrows

(OP)
Okay, another question that's been bugging me for ages.  Say I draw a note using the "quick leader" button- so I have a leader line and a block of text when I'm done.  Now, I use the "Dim Style Control" on the toolbar to change the dimension style of the arrow.  When I do that, the leader line suddenly changes so that it goes through the text instead of stopping at the text- even if the new dim style is identical to the old one.  How do I avoid this?

By the way, both this and the previous post on text size in the editor box are using AutoCAD 2002.

Thanks!

RE: Changing dim style on existing leader arrows

Does changing the text justification help?
