The best one to use is from Carrier. Ask one from a carrier rep.

need to determine min. return dujct size for 800 cfm

Minimum size is probably 2" round.... of course the pressure drop will be ridiculously high.

How long is the run, what static pressure can your fan take? How many fittings are there?
