Precipitated Silica Kinetics

(OP)
Dear All,
I'm Final Year B.Sc. Engineering Undergraduate in the
University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. We are given a
design project on "Production of Precipitated Silica
from Silica Sand";

In this case we need some information about the
reaction kinetics of the following reactions in order
to design the furnace and reaction vessel.
 1. Reaction of Sodium Carbonate and Silica Sand
(SiO2);

 2. Reaction of Sodium Silicate and Sulfuric Acid.

It would be appreciated if you can send those details
as soon as possible.

Thanks,
