actually how can i install the help files from installation cd?

RE: using help files??

The documentation files are on seperate CDs (four for R12, I think).

RE: using help files??

That's correct, the online docs are on 4 CDs (can use sample files).  Note the Documentation CD Set from IBM is a total of 5 CDs.  The fifth CD is PDFs of the online docs(cannot use sample files).
Lastly, if you have you have an account on IBM's PLM Support website you can order the latest R12 Docs (which happens to be SP02)

RE: using help files??

^^ Might as well just use the latest docs, though. I'm running 12.9 at work, but I use the 14.2 docs. There is obviously some functionality that isn't available in 12, but the docs generally get better with each release.

RE: using help files??

You have to Map it first.

Tool-option-General-Help tab
In Technical Documentation area browse to.....example "c:\CatiaDocs\B13doc\English"

Now, u can use the tool bar "help"

Have fun

I don't think his question is actually about using the docs. It's installing the docs. "actually how can i install the help files from installation cd?"

The r14sp2 docs are on SIX CDs!
