newbie counterbore question

newbie counterbore question

(OP)
I'm trying to create a counterbore hole but wild fire will only let me make a threaded counterbore hole.  How can I make a standard counterbore hole using the hole feature?

RE: newbie counterbore question

Change your hole type in the drop down box from simple to sketched, then draw the hole profile as if it was a revolve (all entities on same side of centerline).  You can also save the sketch to use later.

RE: newbie counterbore question

In the THREADED section, pick the option CLEARANCE HOLE. Now you can make a hole with a counterbore.

To change the Pro/E default clearance hole diameter, pick

"hole_diamter_override" to "yes" in your config.pro.
