How to calculate thermal conductivity for a Silver alloy?
How to calculate thermal conductivity for a Silver alloy?
(OP)
Hello,
I need to calculate the thermal conductivity of a Silver alloy but am unsure about how to do it. The primary element in the alloy is silver at approximately 98% wt%. The rest of the alloy is comprised of 4 other elements. Is there a way to calculate the K-value of this entire alloy without acutally measuring the value itself?
Thank you very much in advance.

You can find similar alloys and try to get values that bracket the range that you are working with. I would first look for binary alloys with ~4-5% of each of your elements. These would give you a 'worst case' limit.
