Anti-Hydro brand additive cracking problems?

Anti-Hydro brand additive cracking problems?

Anti-Hydro brand additive cracking problems?

(OP)
Has anyone had cracking (shrinkage) problems when placing  new concrete containing Anti-Hydro brand waterproofing admixture.  The manufacturer advertises that the admix should actually reduce shrinkage cracking, but we had the opposite experience.  Vertical cracks formed at approximately 4 to 5 feet on center in a wall that was roughly 18 feet high, and 2 feet thick.  The concrete was cured under a water spray.  Control joints (with water stops) were spaced at 20 feet on center.  This project was a tank for a water treatment facility.  A section of the tank wall placed later without the admixture had not such cracking.
