How to prevent showing (or hiding) dimensions on feature parts when making assembly drawings???

RE: Dimensions on feature parts

Hi, can you give a little bit more information about this problem? I am not sure what you need to do.

I'M MAKING AN ASSEMBLY DRAWING AND I DONT WANT TO SEE THE LIBRARY STANDARD PARTS´ DIMENSIONS IN THE DRAWING, SOLIDWORKS IS PUTTING SOME INCONVENIENT DIMENSIONS LIKE THE HIGH OF THE HEADS' BOLTS

RE: Dimensions on feature parts

Packmen,

I'm guessing here, but I think I know what you mean.

Go to View, Hide/Show Annotations and click this, it will put a check mark next to it. Then click a dimension, this will make the the dimension that you want to hid a light white color. Just click the dimensions to turn them back on, they will turn black, to turn them off or hide them click it again and it turns back white. To completely hide the dimensions you have picked go to back to View, Hide/Show Annotations and uncheck it and the dimesnions you turned off will hide themselves.

This works for reference dimensions that you may have added yourself.

I hope this helps,
