ctb VS stb

ctb VS stb

(OP)
We recently received drawings from a customer that try to plot using only stb plot styles (named plot styles) I don't have a lot of experience with these, I've always used color dependant plot styles (ctb) I understand it is associated with the layout and drawing specific. I need to know how to tell the drawing to use the ctb file (even monochrome in stb does not plot black & white and I can seem to change it)
Thanks.
