Start Parts & Parameters

Start Parts & Parameters

Start Parts & Parameters

(OP)
Is there a tutorial anywhere that I can get to see the easiest way to create start parts and edit parameters? Because I have not used parameters at all and it seems that they are the basis for setting up everything to do with drawing formats, which is what I am looking for.

RE: Start Parts & Parameters

Every one has different needs for start parts/assemblies, and is based on what your company needs as repeatable information.

The most important items in start parts are parameters, which can be passed to start drawings/formats (using "&parameter_name" notes).

This is where I get stuck. Where do I even start when I use parameters?  Or even editing/adding parameters to an existing format?

RE: Start Parts & Parameters

What version are you using?  I learned them by going through the help menu....

Wildfire 2.0, I usually start by going through the start menu.  But I was hoping that there was an alternative out there.
