Mounting Height of EXIT Lights

Mounting Height of EXIT Lights

Mounting Height of EXIT Lights

(OP)
Hello. Can anybody help me regarding the mounting height requirement of EXIT lights as per NFPA?

I am currently engaged in an on-going construction of a laboratory building and most of the exit lights are located in corridors with three (3) meters ceiling height measured from the finished floor line. The exit lights are intended to be surface-mounted with respect to the soffit of the ceiling. I would like to know if this installation is allowed with this height as soon as possible. Please be kind enough to indicate the particular code.

Thank you very much.

RE: Mounting Height of EXIT Lights

Is your lab in a new building or existing building?
Does you lab handle flammable substances or would it be considered a "HIgh Hazard Occupancy"?
